MARI TAKAGI
MUSician Mari Takagi contributes her voice to two tracks on the DEBUT Rubymink album. She sings on tracks, It’s True and My Cup.
Mari was brought up in Tokyo, Singapore, Sweden and the U.S.A. She began learning the piano from her mother since the age of 6. Mari moved to New York in 2006, meeting a man named Mark who happened to be the  singer/ songwriter for the well known song “You gotta have friends” performed by Bette Midler.  Mari began to co-write songs with him. One of them is “Cherish the world.” This song contains a strong message encouraging that we collectively act for amending  global environmental issues together. The song was released on the album “Here come the Peaceniks” in 2009 to wide acclaim.
BILLY ARMIJO
Billy Armijo, the acclaimed singer/songwriter for the band THE PICTURE TOUR  , THE BEDSIT INFAMY AND GUITARIST FOR EMERALD SIAM SHARED HIS drumming talents on one of OUR tracks, It’s true, featuring Mari Takagi and Stevyn Llewellyn. Llewellyn and Takagi recorded the vocals and keyboards in New York, and then Billy added his own unique sound to the drum tracks, elevating the song to a new level. This was then mixed and mastered by Justin Calhoun in Portland, Oregon.
MAGGIE GIBSON
Contributing vocalist Maggie Gibson lenT her distinctive voice to eight tracks on the DEBUT Rubymink album, including the songs Right as Rain, Fill My Shoes, Rain Cloud Comes, Will, Sirens, Light Speed, Pretend Friends, and See You on the Other Side.
Maggie is a Portland based musician whose solo works are described as Soulful indie folk/pop. Maggie also performs with her band Promise The Moon,  along with the musical talents of  Brance Pearson and  Molly Lehrkind. Coming from Wisconsin and the plains of the Midwest , Maggie was raised among a family of musicians. She has been exploring violin and piano, and was self-taught on guitar and mandolin. Some of Maggie’s  other projects include the soundtrack for the Portland film “Holed Up” composed by Ryan Cloutier, and Rock Opera “In Odin’s Name,” composed by Justin Radford.
CATI JAMES
Vocalist Cati James, the New York BASED singer lends her soulful voice to the track, Restless Eyes  On THE debut Album. Cati contributed to our two follow up albums, Sea to Sky & Voyager.
Cati hails from Nashville,and has lived and worked in  New York for over a decade. She is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy NYC, Integrated Program in Musical Theater.
